Winter services
Winter services are not organised in December but before it. Ahead of the season we record which areas are covered, when an assignment is triggered and where cleared snow may be placed. That way it is clear what happens when the weather turns.

Settled before the season
Preparation decides how the winter goes. Fixed response times are not promised in general terms; they are discussed as part of the seasonal agreement.
- A plan of access routes, paths and parking bays
- Agreed trigger conditions for an assignment
- Places where cleared snow may be deposited
- A contact person and reporting route for the season
Access routes first
Entrances, steps, the route to the collection point and parking take priority, and the order is fixed in advance. Particular points such as ramps, cellar stairs and hydrants are recorded so they are not overlooked.
Grit and surfaces
The choice of grit depends on the surface. Natural stone, exposed concrete and adjoining planted areas react badly to salt, so alternatives are discussed. Storage location and restocking belong to the same agreement.
Common questions
When is clearing carried out?
According to the trigger conditions agreed for the property in advance. They are recorded in writing before the season.
Who provides the grit?
That is settled before the season. Storage, restocking and the choice of material belong to the agreement.
What happens during continuous snowfall?
Priorities and repeated clearing follow the seasonal agreement and the actual weather conditions.
Can occupied parking spaces be cleared?
Parking bays can only be cleared completely if they are accessible and free. How permanently occupied areas are handled is discussed in advance.
Are roofs and icicles also part of the winter service?
No, not automatically. Work on roofs or at greater heights requires a separate assessment and, where necessary, a specialist company.
